As all the environmental related permissions are cleared for the proposed Navi Mumbai Interantional Airpot & this project will be operational by 2019.
This project will be built on public-private partnership(PPP) on a land of around 1160 hectares.
After the completion of first phase, 10 million people are expected to use it annually. The final phase will have a capacity to accommodate 60 million passengers, annually.
Seeing the rise in passengers, Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport will also be extended to accommodate 40 million passengers, annually.
